Your experience begins at Dimitra’s Art Glass Studio, a sun-drenched corner studio in the historic Ano Poli (Upper Town). Located on the picturesque Koule Kafe (Romfei) Square, you’ll create your own piece of Tiffany stained glass surrounded by the character of one of the city’s most authentic neighborhoods, just steps away from the historic Byzantine Bath.

Before getting creative, take a moment to discover a little of the artistic and cultural character of Ano Poli. A brief visit to the Upper Town Library offers a glimpse into the history of the neighborhood and creates the perfect atmosphere for your creative experience.

Choose Your Design

At the studio, you’ll choose your favorite design from a selection of specially prepared Tiffany suncatcher patterns.

Then choose the glass colors that will make your piece uniquely yours.

Designed for small groups of up to 4 people, the experience is relaxed, personal and welcoming. No previous experience is needed — you’ll have guidance throughout and can simply enjoy the creative process.

Create Your Own Tiffany Suncatcher

Working with beautiful colored glass, you’ll bring your chosen design to life using the traditional Tiffany technique.

The process is creative, hands-on and wonderfully immersive. For a few hours, leave the everyday behind, enjoy the colors and light of the glass, and create something with your own hands.

Hospitality & Your Handmade Creation

Throughout the experience, enjoy coffee, tea or a soft drink accompanied by delicious local sweet or savory treats.

At the end, you’ll take home your own handmade Tiffany suncatcher, ready to hang in a window and catch the sunlight.

Hands-on Tiffany Experience: Spend a few creative hours working with colored glass and discover the basic steps of the Tiffany technique, from cutting and grinding to copper foiling and soldering.

Your Own Creation: Choose your favorite design and glass colors, then create your own handmade Tiffany suncatcher to take home.

Personal Guidance: Receive step-by-step guidance throughout the experience, with plenty of hands-on time to work with the glass and create your piece.

Materials & Tools Included: All the glass, professional tools and materials you need for the experience are provided.

Cultural Introduction: Before the workshop, enjoy a short guided visit to the Upper Town Library to see its Byzantine stained glass windows, followed by a stroll next to the historic Byzantine Bath.

Refreshments: Enjoy coffee, tea, water or a soft drink in a relaxed and welcoming studio atmosphere.

The workshop takes place at Dimitra’s Art Glass Studio, in the Upper Town of Thessaloniki, a quiet and charming location with beautiful views and an inspiring atmosphere for creativity.

This experience is not suitable for children under 18 years old.

The workshop is located on the Corner of Chrisostomou str. & Vas. Romfei square. You need to pass Chrisostomou 1 entrance and you will find us.
