Welcome to Dimitra’s Art Glass Studio in the scenic Upper Town of Thessaloniki. Located in a boutique space right by the historic Byzantine Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the only surviving one in Greece, this workshop offers a modern, hands-on experience in the art of glass mosaics.
The Experience
After a warm welcome with coffee, tea, or refreshments and a local snack, we’ll start with a brief intro to our intuitive, contemporary mosaic techniques. No prior experience is needed—we guide you through every step of the process.
Make Your Own Art
During this 3.5-hour workshop, you will design and make your own unique glass mosaic piece. You’ll start by choosing your pattern, wooden base color, and glass pieces to reflect your personal style.
Under expert guidance, you will:
- Compose your mosaic by placing and gluing the glass.
- Grout the gaps to finish your creation.
- Take home your unique, personalized artwork as a handmade souvenir of Thessaloniki. We provide secure, travel-ready packaging to ensure your creation arrives safely at your next destination.
This is more than a workshop; it’s a creative escape in a relaxed atmosphere, leaving you with a lasting, handmade memory of Thessaloniki.

The price includes a 4-hour hands-on glass mosaic workshop where you will enjoy a modern and creative experience. All materials and tools are provided, along with step-by-step personal guidance, so you can create your own unique artwork, even if you have no prior experience. Included in the price are the choice of pattern, color of the wooden base, and glass pieces, guidance throughout the mosaic assembly, and the filling of gaps with tile grout to complete your piece. You will also enjoy coffee, tea, water, or a soft drink, along with a sweet or salty snack during the workshop. The finished mosaic is yours to take home as a personal unique artwork, with no extra cost. The experience is held in a small group, ensuring personal support and comfort throughout.

The workshop is located on the Corner of Chrisostomou str. & Vas. Romfei square. You need to pass Chrisostomou 1 entrance and you will find us.
